  • Previously Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Third Rock Ventures and Founder of iRhythm Technologies (NASDAQ: IRTC).
  • Served as Board Member and Chief Medical Officer at iRhythm, contributing to the success of the Zio® Patch used by 8+ million patients.
  • Co-founded and served on boards of Qurious.io (acquired by Pegasystems Inc.) and Sympara Medical.
  • Also served as Board Member of G-Tech Medical and Madorra, and currently Advisor to Sectoral Asset Management.
  • Adjunct Professor of Bioengineering at Stanford University and senior advisor at the Byers Center for Biodesign.

Dr. Dipen Shah

  • Completed medical education at BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad, followed by interventional cardiology training in Chennai.
  • Pursued electrophysiology fellowship in Bordeaux under Prof. Haissaguerre and continued as a clinical research associate.
  • Contributed significantly to the understanding of pulmonary vein electrophysiology and development of multielectrode circular mapping techniques.
  • Helped establish key electrophysiologic endpoints for pulmonary vein isolation.
  • Developed widely used criteria for cavotricuspid isthmus block and dual-loop intra-atrial reentry mechanisms.
  • Currently Professor of Medicine and Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at University Hospitals Geneva.
  • Advanced RF lesion assessment using real-time contact force sensing and developed the force-time integral index.
